PROGRAM TERMS
Luup Champ Program — Terms
1 · Eligibility
Applicants must be Canadian residents aged 18 or older and must confirm that eligibility when applying. The Champ application does not collect date of birth. Luup may verify eligibility through the applicant's Luup account before a reward or credit is issued. Luup platform bookings and the Luup credit option are available only to people aged 21 or older who are verified through Luup. Applications are reviewed and approval is at Luup's discretion. Personnel of advertising, referral, and marketing agencies working on this campaign may earn Champ rewards when they meet these terms.
2 · Rewards
Offer period: effective 1 August 2026. The referred person must register with the Champ's code by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on 11 August 2026. Each qualifying booking must be made by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on 31 October 2026.
A qualifying activated renter referral earns $20 cash: $10 at the first qualifying booking and $10 after the first qualifying trip is completed.
A qualifying activated car-owner referral earns $25 cash: $15 at the first qualifying booking and $10 after the first qualifying trip is completed.
A qualifying activated fleet-operator referral earns $150 cash: $25 at the first qualifying booking, $25 after each of the first, second, and third qualifying trips, and $50 after the fourth qualifying trip. The operator must list at least five vehicles based in British Columbia.
Cancelled or refunded bookings and trips do not qualify. Role stacking is permitted: each verified person or legal entity may qualify once as a renter, once as an individual car owner, and once as a fleet operator when every condition for each role is independently met. Creating additional accounts, listing additional vehicles, or repeating qualifying activity does not create another benefit in the same role. The same booking, vehicle, or completed trip cannot be counted toward more than one role unless Luup expressly approves otherwise. There is no limit on the number of qualifying people a Champ may refer.
3 · Luup credit or cash
A Champ aged 21 or older who is verified through Luup may actively choose the published Luup-credit schedule instead of cash: $50 for a renter referral, $100 for an owner referral, or $200 for a fleet referral. Cash and Luup credit cannot be combined for the same referral-role reward. The choice must be made before the first reward accrual and cannot be changed after that accrual. Champs aged 18–20 receive cash only.
Each qualifying cash tranche is paid by Interac e-Transfer within five business days after its qualifying booking or completed trip is verified.
Renter credit is issued as $25 at the first booking and $25 after the first completed trip. Owner credit is issued as $50 at the first booking and $50 after the first completed trip. Fleet credit is issued as $25 at the first booking, $25 after each of the first three completed trips, and $100 after the fourth completed trip. Each credit tranche expires 12 months after issue, is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4 · Attribution
Your Champ code must be entered at signup. Referrals cannot be claimed retroactively. A valid Champ code takes precedence over marketing attribution or analytics tracking, and analytics data never determines reward eligibility, value, timing, or campaign capacity.
5 · Communication and CASL
Champs must comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation and all other applicable laws. As a stricter Luup program rule, send no more than one message and one follow-up to each person; a follow-up is permitted only where that person replied or clicked. Every commercial message must identify the Champ by full name, identify Luup Technologies Corp., provide Luup's current contact information, and include a working unsubscribe method. An unsubscribe request must be respected promptly and no later than the period required by law. Never collect another person's licence, payment details, or other sensitive information. Review the Government of Canada CASL guidance.
6 · Verification and withholding
Luup may verify eligibility and may place an unpaid reward under human review where fraud, abuse, duplicate activity, a related-party relationship, or a breach of these terms is reasonably suspected. A review flag is not an automatic denial and does not by itself change eligibility, reward value, campaign capacity, or payment status. After review, Luup may withhold or reverse an unpaid reward only where the qualifying conditions were not met or a material breach is established. Breach of the Champ undertaking ends participation and may forfeit unpaid rewards.
7 · Tax
Cash rewards may be reportable income. Luup and each recipient must follow applicable CRA requirements. Luup may request tax information and issue applicable reporting documents where required. You are responsible for your own tax obligations. Rewards paid to Luup employees may require payroll treatment. See the CRA reporting-fees guidance.
8 · Privacy and retention
Financial, payment, referral, and dispute records are retained for seven years. CASL consent and unsubscribe records are retained for three years. See Luup's Privacy Policy for more information.
On public Champ pages, Luup may use the Meta Pixel only after a visitor selects Allow analytics. Meta may then receive technical information such as the page URL, browser or device identifiers, IP address, and limited campaign events including page views, application starts, completed Champ applications, invitation views, and completed referred-user registration handoffs. Luup does not send the name, email address, phone number, requested Champ code, message, or other form-field content through the Pixel. Admin and Champ dashboard pages are excluded.
Visitors may decline analytics without losing access to the site and may withdraw a prior choice using the persistent Privacy choices control. Analytics never determines referral attribution, eligibility, reward value, payment timing, or campaign capacity.
9 · Changes
These terms were approved by Zelani Bhuiyan, Founder & CEO, on behalf of the COO and become effective on 1 August 2026. Luup may amend, pause, or end the program prospectively at any time, subject to applicable law. Qualifying rewards already earned under these terms will be honoured.
